"Keeping Healthy"

Year 1 and 2 have been thinking about ‘Keeping Healthy’ during their PSHCEE lessons. They discussed the importance of physical activity and the physical signs of being active; their heart beating faster, their bodies sweating! The children had a visit from one of our parents, who delivered a sporting session, here the children enjoyed playing a variety of ball games as well as team work! A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!

Bird Spotting

As part of our Science work about Animals, Year 1 and 2 went bird spotting around the school grounds. We used our ears to listen for birdsong. We were very quiet so as not to scare any birds away. We saw lots of Magpies, a Crow and a Pigeon.
